Want to Know How To Lose Fat? Then You Need the Best Fat Loss Diet Programs!

When you think of losing weight (I like to call it losing "fat" weight), the thing that probably pops into your mind the most are all those fat loss diet programs that promise that you'll lose it all in a week or even a few days! Magazine, articles, newspapers and unfortunately some fat loss guides around the world are full of it and the reality is, they never work and are written by people that really have no idea what they're talking about, and are only in it for the money.

One thing I want to clear up quickly is that when I talk about losing weight, like I said previously, I like to refer to it as losing fat because you want to get rid of the wrong weight, such as fat. Getting rid of the right weight, such as muscle, will only slow down your metabolism. Of course this a whole other topic in itself but for now, try changing your language - the next time you say you want to lose weight, say "I want to lose fat" "or I'm losing fat", as it has much more impact, meaning you'll probably take more action in doing so.

Now back to the "how to", so if your thinking about those fad diets, then forget it. Losing fat weight is actually as simple as this; burn more calories then you consume, with a moderate deficit that is, not an extreme one. Any well researched fat loss guide will tell you that and once you get a grip of that concept, you'll lose fat effortlessly.

Have you ever counted how many calories you eat in a day? It's good to have an idea of how many calories you are burning throughout the day, and how many you are taking in. If you don’t monitor this, it can get out of control.

The good news is that everyone burns calories, meaning everyone can lose fat! The average women burns approximately 1,800 calories per day, and a man burns a couple 2000 calories per day in a relaxed state (thats your Basal Metabolic rate), meaning just to for your body to function normally burns that many calories alone. These averages vary from person to person of course and are dependant on the persons weight, exercise levels and muscle mass. People with more muscles and I don't mean Sly Stallone muscles, I mean lean and toned muscle mass, burn more calories.

2000 calories is easy to eat, especially if you eat the wrong foods, so be careful. That's the reason people put on fat. If you know what foods to eat, which satisfy your hunger and are not packed with low to zero quality calories, your diet can help you shed fat quicker and easier. This also means that you can actually eat more food, most of the time.

Regular exercise, doesn't matter what it is as long as your consiously make an effort together with eating smaller meals more often will help you feel less hungry throughout the day. Your mood and body will actually function better and your metabolism will go up. This means that yes, you'll actually lose fat. The meal frequency is important so try and make the switch to 5 to 6 smaller meals per day as it's much better for you than eating 3 big meals less often.
